Preventing Burnout

Burnout is a common challenge for sonographers, with more than half experiencing it at some point in their careers. We don’t think it has to be that way, and that’s why we’ve created this course.

Preventing Burnout includes practical tools and techniques to promote relaxation and well-being. The “Move” chapter features three yoga videos tailored to relieve tension and support physical wellness, while the “Listen” chapter offers a mindful moment exercise to help center your thoughts and lessen stress.

Meet Your Instructor

Brandy brings a distinctive blend of expertise in both clinical and educational fields. With over 20 years experience as a sonographer, she has dedicated her career to advancing the field of medical imaging, serving for two decades as the lead perinatal sonographer and sonographer educator in her maternal-fetal medicine practice.

Brandy is also an Assistant Professor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, a Women’s Health Education Leader, and a trained yoga-medicine and mindfulness instructor who works with elite military and medical professionals to reduce burnout in high stress environments.
